Credit Report: DSTV

Does anyone know, why DSTV is listed as a credit provider ?

I haven't seen them listed on any of my credit reports... (Easyview).

Edit: So even if listed as a credit provider, they do not seem to submit anything to the credit bureaus

AFAIK they are required to be listed as a credit provider due something to do with the insurance on decoders and them billing in arrears.

They don't bill in arrears.
They used to let people's accounts go in arrears for up to 3 months before cutting them off. I don't think they do that any more though, as soon as they see no money they cut you off these days.

The insurance aspect of that Decoder Care thing is what means they need to be listed as a Credit Provider.

The Insurance contract will be billed in arrears as far as I understand...
