You guys are bit harsh, remember Steyn was dropped when he first started. Plus dont forget besides Gibbs that side was very inexperienced even by List A standards compared to that English side.

SA A side: 886 list A games played (This includes 374 from 1 player - Gibbs)
England side: 1415 list A games played

Plus we didnt exactly get hammered

The England XI was basically their normal international team.

See it is more than likely McL will be chosen ahead of Parnell for the first ODI :D

Good to see the back up for the Proteas be this strong :)

14 degrees forecast for Jhb tomorrow. It's gonna be a pointless day for cricket anyway :(

Parnell needs some to get some time in bowling before he comes back. No good him coming back rusty and going for mega per over.

Yip! Conditions look suitable for the English. They'd be grinning broadly at the prospects of a perfect summer's day at Lords.

Aye. It is also nice to see that we did not just convince McL to give up his Kolpac agreement to throw him to the side.

Nope my weather thing says sunday will be over cast and 22 degrees so there may be hope. No rain.

Today there is no hope that seems certain but sunday has a 70/30 chance i reckon :D
