So much for "I may not agree with what you have to say but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

Edit: And before anyone says I support Crime Expo SA or similar, I never even visited the site.

ROFL!!

He probably using the money to start his political career :D

From cesa press release:

The massive CESA support will turn into massive votes for CESA at all future elections.

Another BIG ROFL!!

I wonder if the tard knows most of his supporters were a bunch of conservative toppies that I doubt would be willing to vote for a gay president.

We place it on record that the ID fears a ballot box humiliation, as they stand to loose huge number of votes to CESA and the Democratic Alliance (DA) in the next national and provincial elections.

Again I am not a DA fanboy but does this guy really think his starting up political party will take lots of votes from the DA ?

I fully agree with your quote, however I do feel that you have to say the truth and not make things up. A large part of the information on CrimeExpo was proven to be either false or taken from other countries knowingly.

He also refused to allow comments by people who did not think the way he did and was then found out to be the leader of the GLA and Neil Watson was not even his real name.

Freedom of speech should not protect lyers and fraudsters in my humble opinion.
He did it to get rich and famous and for nothing else.

Again good riddance.

MEDIA STATEMENT

CRIME EXPO SOUTH AFRICA – CESA

NOVEMBER 21 2006 19:00

CESA ACHIEVED OUR GOAL, NOW FOR THE RISE IN SOUTH AFRICAN POLITICS

The CRIME EXPO SOUTH AFRICA database is safely locked with one password. The broadcast is halted, but CESA is still rolling. The struggle for safety and security continue in heart and soul. CESA on November 20 2006 had a record number of visitors; this angered the INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATS (ID) in South Africa. They are well aware of our plan to register CESA as a political identity in South Africa. Due to South African pressure, our host decided to halt the CESA account.

This registration process will not get derailed. The extremely popular CESA will register as a political party and will challenge the ID at the ballot box. Let the ballot box do the talking. Our new political party in January 2007 will activate a new CESA political party website. The CESA 2006 online campaign will be uploaded to that site as a reference for our voters. The massive CESA support will turn into massive votes for CESA at all future elections.

Simon Grindrod was declared MOUSE OF THE MOMENT by Cesans 3 months ago, because of his soft slapgat stance towards killings in South Africa. We place it on record that the ID fears a ballot box humiliation, as they stand to loose huge number of votes to CESA and the Democratic Alliance (DA) in the next national and provincial elections.

CESA succeeded in the exposure of South African horror. Councilors like Grindrod failed the voters. We will complete our political formation and will challenge Mouse Grindrod at the first possible elections. Love CESA or hate CESA, we managed to expose the anger among South Africans regarding the killings in our country. Gagging CESA is not going to close a lid on violent crime in South Africa, because the world now is aware of the South African killings. We have gained massive support in more than 110 countries with explosive member support. The CESA website is not hacked as alleged by mouse Grindrod. We can go online again at any given time, but the team decided to focus now on the registration of the political wing.

As Grindrod was actually openly calling for the hacking of the CESA site (criminal offence), we now in return call on international hackers to contact CESA via crimexposouthafrica@yahoo.com

Let us use the festive season to prepare for our battle in the political arena. South African politicians took notice of CESA, the international community took notice of our plight for safety and security. Ordinary gatvol South Africans are ready to strike back at the ballot box. – CESA team.

what they are saying is that the ID will lose votes to CESA and the DA, as though the DA and CESA are working together - their leaders are playing together more likely

Ok as I said I didn't ever bother even visiting his site, tend to stay away from sites that are either deliberately positive or negative. Fraudulent and false statements are other matters obviously, assumed it was at least factual, if biased.

Well the site is offline ..... now the question is "If the content was SO UNTRUE, why was the site attacked by every politician in South Africa" ?

the site touched a nerve that politics could not control ... if Watson didnt do it - someone else will.

There WILL be another one...

This may add some perspective:

http://www.ioltechnology.co.za/article_page.php?iArticleId=3556823&iSectionId=2891

........."It is alleged that founder Neil Watson was a fictitious character created by Juan Uys of Gay and Lesbian Alliance infamy. If true, this is the same cruel man who threatened to contaminate blood donations with HIV if homosexuals continued to be required to fill in a questionnaire before giving blood."

One-man show

The address of the website has apparently been traced back to the same address as the one-man show GLA.

The crime website attracted massive interest and solicited hundreds of thousands in donations, advertising and SMS revenue.

"Under false pretenses he systematically stole money from the public and attempted to destroy our country’s image at home and overseas," says Grindrod.
