This comment is beyond comprehension?
The president inherited “a state crippled through corruption, state capture and a stagnant economy. The Covid-19 pandemic worsened the challenges of unemployment and poverty,” Magwenya told reporters
We do not vote for a president in this country. We vote for a party. His party elected the Zuma and him. ANC is responsible and did the above. This is therefore no excuse.
It may be response to criticism levelled against him by Mbeki, Motlanthe as well as the Zuma faction of the party.

We are where we are today because of the ANC's utter incompetence and corruption, they will not escape what is coming - you break certain natural rules and Nature does not give two fcucks who you are you WILL pay...good luck
I agree with that. But Nature usually takes its time. Us sapiens like to see quicker payback.

Well, Journalists wont be killed or have uncivilized people try to plant letter bombs in their houses nowadays.

Interesting...

I honestly think its more a case of SAPO being completely fscked that the letter bomb thing hasn't happened yet.

And I am aware that many journalists do their job whilst fearing for their lives, and in some ways its been a small miracle they haven't been killed yet.

South Africa in crisis

The economy is shrinking, power cuts are at a record, unemployment is close to an all-time high, living costs have surged, towns are falling apart and there are sporadic outbreaks of xenophobic violence.

The laundry list of challenges confronting South Africa is a massive headache for Cyril Ramaphosa heading into governing-party elections in December and a national vote in 2024.
The same old will still vote the same old, nothing has changed from payrolled voters vs minorities.

Yeah, sorry but no.

The old regime was fscking brutal, but I'd say the current lot are as brutal and considerably less subtle or competent. I will shy away from referencing it in civilised/uncivilised terms since that will end up in a racist diatribe from someone.

The were even less competent than the ANC. More people have access to water and electricity under the ANC than them.

One has to wonder what useless qualifications the NP had.

If thats your measure, then no.. the ANC are considerably less competent since the availability of either item to the market is way way worse.

The previous regime provided more stable water and electricity to those they would provide it for... they chose not to provide it to a huge segment of the population.

He does yes, but usually he just goes Full Retard and then provides entertainment to the rest of us.
I've had tears in my eyes with some of the comments...It makes my day over coffee in a morning.
Sadly his talent is wasted here...
