Cristiano Ronaldo - is he human?

He's 40 years old so of course this could happen. It's amazing that he is still good.

Honestly though, Portugal have a talented side but with Ronaldo in it, the gameplay has to basically revolve around him. He's still good enough as a squad player and can score many goals against the average teams but I just don't see him being effective against the big teams and he obviously won't accept a bench role.

He could cost Portugal a chance at winning the World Cup next year.

He has always been a selfish person and out for personal glory above everything else, I am sure he was already looking at his personal records while taking that penalty.

I don't understand why everyone still has to tiptoe around him today.

Because Wayne Rooney was once ugly to him, thus he was a victim of English arrogance.

i recognise that he is good at his chosen sport BUT his interview with Piers Morgan made me realize that he is a huge steaming pile of dog turd as a person - and that on it's own supercedes how good he is as a football player

You are in the United thread saying many of the same things he said about the club in the interview.

Yes, how he went about it was wrong, and he hurt his legacy as a result, but everything he said was true.

its more about "how he went about it" and also a huge thing is "who he went about it with" ...... why go and complain to a horses ar5e like Piers

he could have ended his ties with the club in a better way instead he chose to down tools and then go and complain like a little girl to one of the most odious people in the world - and i was a United fan more than a CR7 fan - though i am now getting extremely tired of the Glazers as well as Rattytw@tty and their utter crap so i'm really gonna give two foks about United from now on
