My main issue, was that they did not have English for their anime, not English subtitles but spoken English.
Huh? Crunchyroll definitely has english dub for most anime

I don't watch anime but I feel like subscribing just to support places that lower their prices.

Mmm, I actually paused my sub a couple of months ago. Just wasn't using it enough honestly.

And also had issues with streaming on Xbox S.
But that could just be some wifi issues I had before getting a 2nd router to strengthen the signal around the house.

Will fire it up again and check it out with a monthly first.

Signed up yesterday for the trial.
About 30 minutes in the show I was watching started buffering and I just gave up from there.

I was able to add my FNB virtual card when I did the sign up for the 14 day trial.
They processed and refunded R6.

It finally worked had to speak to crunchyroll support

Even wasn’t accepting my physical card so they reset something and now it works

I can’t stream on Xbox at all , it just never loads and when it does the quality is bad

Found a trick that worked for me although not ideal , Using the crunchy roll app on iPhone I AirPlayed an episode to a Samsung TV (should be the same for any Airplay device) and I get 1080p and no buffering every time

Weird but it works

Completely agree. I want to be able to support the service and show there's demand in SA, but it does my head in that they're not willing to fix the CDN issues. So I went and blocked 41.63.66.9 on my router, and now it's resolving to the UK CDN node 87.248.214.8. Tested it out and it works flawlessly - 1080 and no buffering (getting great speeds - 100mbps). So will test it further and see how it goes.
how to you block the 41.63.66.9 on your router? im having issues with crunchyroll buffering and i would like to try this method to see if it works

Have you tried changing your primary DNS servers to 8.8.8.8? That's what worked for me

Depends on your router. After doing this mine worked perfectly
