World's biggest anime platform stops free streaming of new episodes in South Africa

Crunchyroll has announced that it would end its ad-supported free streaming service for new releases.

Previously, free users could watch episodes a week after release in Japan. Paid subscribers get new episodes within an hour of airing on Japanese TV, and can watch ad-free.

That and their annoying UX of adding dubs as listed stand alone episodes instead of giving you the option to change the audio track (SAP) like Netflix , Prime & Hidive does.

My daughter and I watched age appropriated dubbed in English on Netflix. There was more episodes in Crunchyroll, but it never had english dubbed only english subbed. I cancel after noticing I was falling asleep reading the subtitles.
