Works on Chrome?
Works on Edge as well
Works on Chrome?
So contacted them to cancel. Amazingly they put me into a different pool. IP changed, and service is much better.
Feels remarkably similar to previous ISPs where things were great until they ran out of capacity.
Have cancelled now. I hope they treat you better than they have me
DDoS in progress against some of their address ranges
For the last 2 weeks also had inconsistent Speedtest results, was told yesterday by CW that Vumatel are experiencing DDoS attacks and they are trying to address it.
This morning internet access is basically dead.
So CW's explanation that the DDoS issue is on the Vumatel side is not accurate? Thought if V had the issue if I moved ISP would still have the issue.
Irritates me to lose the R900 odd connection fee with CW though even if I am on month to month, only been with them for 3 months now
So they may be getting the ddos to their ranges used on Vumatels network alone. If you move ISP your IP would change to that ISP. So could be the case.So CW's explanation that the DDoS issue is on the Vumatel side is not accurate? Thought if V had the issue if I moved ISP would still have the issue.

Same issue here, slow speeds internationally since Friday 100/100 mbps fibre on Vumatel and I told by their support to restart my CPE which obviously didnt work.
Then I was told it is a SAT3 cable issue which sounds like bull*** so I setup a workaround with an OpenVPN connection from my firewall to a VM I had from Webafrica.
Since last night I can't even browse locally which means my OpenVPN workaround is not working anymore.
Now they tell me it's a DDOS attack on my IP which is also bull*** I checked my firewall logs (PfSense) I don't see any unusual traffic.
I told them if I don't have a working connection this evening I will be cancelling.

i.e. it has targeted a IP range provided by IS and used by CW on Vumatel's network? This raises the question of it being a targeted, malicious attack as it does not appear that other ISPs are impacted. So they may be getting the ddos to their ranges used on Vumatels network alone. It's apparently a DDoS on their equipment, the traffic doesn't necessarily reach your endpoint.
