CAPE TOWN - A Kraaifontein man has been handed six life sentences in connection with the vigilante murders of six men.
Bangikhaya Koni has admitted to being the ringleader among 16 people who stoned and stabbed the suspected criminals in Wallacedene in December 2014.
He’s also been handed a five-year sentence for kidnapping, while his 15 alleged accomplices have yet to be charged.
Koni has admitted to intentionally and forcefully kidnapping six men from a Wallacedene house and taking them to Joostenbergvlakte.
