We as FREDD are currently investigating the feasibility of bringing Fibre To The Home in the Edleen area and thereafter branching out to the Van Riebeeck Park areas.

We are having a marketing/questions and answers day on 20 August in the Edleen Park from 10am to 2pm (Cryptomaria, Angelier, Salixterrace streets). So feel free to stop by and ask any fibre/internet service related questions that FREDD could offer.

Bud I am trying everywhere for Van Riebeeck Park...but no joy! I just need something to replace ADSL and problem is wireless is flippen expensive. I followed witf Fredd this week and waiting for feedback. I need a solution like yesterday

That will be great, there was fibre cables laid in Terenure street in front of our house last week but i don't know who the provider is, I've asked most of the popular companies but they are unable to give me answers or it's not them that put the fibre there, it's very frustrating

I got a business corner Dann and Monument road, Glen Marais, in the Glen Acres Shopping centre. I see we fail under Pomona Phase 2.

No idea sand_man...and not sure who to ask anymore. Seriously need something else by month end. Can't do the ADSL anymore. For a 10Mbps 200GB capped account like I have now I'll pay a fortune for a wireless link which is available now.

I've been in contact with Fredd/TT Connect for months now. No joy - they've been thinking about it for months. I sent them a follow up email a week ago...no response.

Just checked with Crystalweb for the extremeTTH product for us...NOPE. No fibre close enough that they can use that is within the microwave distance.

does anyone know what the numbers we need to get? last i looked some people said i needed 250 people in my area to sign up before it became viable. This seems a little overboard especially in low density areas like Birch Acres.
