Hi

I need help in selecting between these two cost effective ISP's for our new fiber line coming soon to our small business.

Cybersmart offering: https://shop.vumatel.co.za/package/E1kZPSuQCHG

Crystal Web offering: https://shop.vumatel.co.za/package/4J-jkDkqM

We currently have 20mb VDSL line getting about 16mb on a good day. So we would like to get 50mb up and 50mb down would significantly improve our internet experience.

Regards

It doesn't seem like a difficult choice... I would go with CW, but that is just because of recent awesome support I received from them.

Nice deals !

I chose CS but I am already with them and we chose them as the sole provider to lay cables. We have other options for data but have not considered them as the introductory offer was very good.

Either or, don't think you can go wrong with either of them...

Yes I think for the price range both offer very good value for money. Problem is just you can not switch to easily without paying another R999 to the new supplier.

Who did you decide to go with? And what's your experience been so far?

Vumatel is rolling out later in the year in my part of Durbanville. Considering Cybersmart as they have the cheapest 20mb packages.

Rather spend a little bit more and go with Cool Ideas - Also remember cybersmart's ISP connection fee is R1999 whereas Cool Ideas is free.

Not to mention Cool Ideas network is tops and they have representation on the forums.

I don't know who initiated the increase. I just noticed that CW increased their packages on Vumatel and the other ISP that I have been watching has not. Maybe the other guys absorbed it and CW passed it on the the consumer - who knows.

Cybersmart has gone complete %#(@& with there new setup fees (over and above the Vuma fees), pricing them out of the market for me.

Looks like Cool Ideas will be the best option for a little bit extra. Feedback on this forum has been very good so seems like a good choice.

Well, logic dictates that, if their provider(Vumatel) ups their prices, they will pass it on to the consumer. As their other prices have stayed the same, I don't see the issue.
