I used to have deep respect for cyclists having to contend with motorists on the road until I start running on the road and find that taxi drivers have less entitlement towards people running along the side of the road compared to cyclists (who deliberately try to force you off your 20cm of road you are using).

Since I see this every day, I am not even generalising. Thankfully cyclists are hardly out at 5am in the morning.
