Cycling

Roglic wins the Vuelta a Palestiña... I mean España lol. There were more stupid Palestine flags these 3 weeks than Spanish ones.

Last I checked this was a cycling thread and your bigotry has no place here... Keep that shyte where it belongs.

Anyway...

For everyone who isn't wbot, what a week for Primoz. The win felt inevitable, but Ben put up a great fight for the Red jersey.

Settling into the long wait 'till May now... *sigh*

And terrorists and their supporters have no place at international sporting events.

O'Connor had a pretty huge lead about a week back but just didn't have the legs to finish it off.

Were folks watching the Vuelta killed by terrorist?

No?

How about by folks waving flags?

Also no?

Well then they can wave whatever they damn like IMO, and maybe, just maybe, the place for that discussion is the Palestine/Israel thread, an actual thread that exists on this forum.

... And yeah, he didn't have the legs, but fighting to minimise his losses at the top of the climbs this week was pretty admirable.

Lmao saying there were more Palestine flags than any other flag now makes me a bigot? I literally commented on something that's been part of this year's Vuelta from day 1. In the past I've also commented on climate protestors gluing themselves to the road in the Tour de France.

This is the cycling thread where you are allowed to comment on anything you see in a cycling race.

And on a related note, well done to Stevie Williams for winning the Tour of Britain.

Must not have been very popular with the haters. I know there were many Palestine protestors there are well saying Israel Premier Tech isn't welcome and that they don't belong in British sport.

You be equally happy if they were waving old South African or Nazi flags? How about anti-abortion or homosexual marriage only flags?

Some of these things are not like the other, but you know that and this reply is all in bad faith.

Anyway...

Today is a good day for me 'tho... You and the bot become #2 and #3 on my ignore list... rietrot is the company you'll be keeping. Eish!

Byeee!

Weird I watch far too much cycling, but didn't particularly notice all these Palestine flags. Plenty of Portuguese ( until João bailed ) plenty Spanish and Basque flags. Perhaps I am concentrating too much on the cyclists?

No need to wait till May, world champs will be interesting, Montreal and Il Lombardia also gonna be good.

All this drama because I noticed flags. Holy hell some people lol.

Curious though.. If he now ignores me can he still see this thread? Genuine question because I don't put anyone on ignore so I don't know how it works.

Pretty much at every stage finish of this year's race.

Yeah, he can see the thread but our posts will be hidden. Reading his message again it's almost like he expects me to feel bad or something that a terrorist sympathiser has chosen to ignore me.

Anyway, Tadej for the triple crown?
