D-Link DGL 4100 router and online gaming

I hope I am posting this in the right forum. My question is, is this router going to help me with online gaming to get better/consistent ping with my telkom unshaped account or are the features on this device (gamefuel...etc) just another gimmick which does not really work. If anyone has had any experience with this router or the wireless equivalent(DGL 4300) I would appreciate the feedback.

I am also thinking of buying this router. I heard some great things about it but I'm not completely sure that it's the case in this "wonderful" country. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Have only used the Netgear routers to do online gaming.
Haven't heard of anyone else using it.
