what worries me is they will feed us fake news to keep the crisis going,
and keep the emergency powers active, as its good to keep the population at bay and scared, so they can enjoy their privileges longer.

give governments an inch of power, and see how quickly they abuse it.

TBH I've largely skimmed the entire document, and there are some worrying items, and some items that deserve more thought and unpacking because they could be worthwhile... but overall the document is a whole load of fluff that these incompetent twats will never actually be able to implement.

These days. take anything that comes out of the DA, with a moerse knippie sout.

Note, when the DA wants deflect from its own internal kak...top secret/highly placed government officials gets taken out of the , let kill this news cycle cupboard. The highly critical views of the DA of late, must be touching a nerve/fanning descent..
I have three problems with the document.

1) It is marked 'Top Secret', but there is hardly anything secret about it.
2) Who is being addressed, eyes-only who???
3) No date.

Yes, it is a revisioned copy, but basics still apply. There is also a chance that the document has been compiled by someone lazy who copied, pasted and revised various reports into this one document.

Most which have been said in that report has been publicly said by Ramaphosa in one way or the other.

Ramaphosa already called on proposals and established committees to address those said worrying items. All the nation can do now is wait and see what is on the agenda... the execution, whatever is to be directed, is a whole other matter because we lack execution due to various 'reasons'.

The Four Asian Tigers... odd lesson. Their economic growth gave them resilience to the Chinese economy. More so odd to blame it on Apartheid, anyhow, same old.
If i recall correctly SA's major problem, which remains problematic, is that we have too many incumbents both state and private sponsored whom act as gate keepers and monopolies. <-- this has needed to change in 94' but there has been reluctance on both sides because golden goose and dividing pie seems easier than making pie especially when u in control of the knife. And yes.. these monopolies are from a time pre-94.. but reluctance to drop it was part political i.e. good luck getting funding when u opening up competition. Also breaks with direct manipulation in labour market which is what the ANC has continued since Zuma elected.

Anyway.. I don't see what the fuss is about, the ANC has claimed that they want to re-draw municipal, local and national gov division since again Zuma was elected as it was shown back then that the trajectory of voting included losing major metros which is where most of the corruption happens (national sure, but those are large projects people watch). So why is this news?

I call bullshit on the document...why is it being released on their website and not a media outlet? media release, is their preferred dissemination route.
If it is Top Secret - designated by the state...how did it land in the hands of the DA?
This smells like all those top secret intelligence reports, Zuma used to produce.

I bet you were one of the same that said the Department of Tourism's draft, on white businesses not getting COVID assistance, was false too.
Weak mind my dude, very weak.

The Democratic Alliance (DA) is in possession of what appears to be a government document that describes the Covid-19 pandemic as an opportunity for the “macro re-organisation of the state”, and proposes to make the Command Council system a model for government beyond the lockdown.

The classification level is meant to be reflected at the top of each page, i.e. it should say top secret in every header. This is clearly not the case here. It is certainly not a controlled official document.

About time the ANC started implementing the socialist mandate they were given by the electorate, instead of hiding their capitalist corruption behind a socialist facade.

The document is hopefully BS/fake because this would be the wrong way to go about it. There is no need for a power grab, they are a majority government, I mean what, they going to grab power from themselves?

Since I know 99% of you won't read the document, I'll post interesting snippets of it.

PS: reading so far...you know how every country on Earth wants to get people INTO cities in order to reduce barrier to entry...? This government wants to bring the city out to the townships...AKA commie-ise the shet out of the cities.

Lying on page 1 already:
South Africa with comparatively low infection rates globally, is still not in the clear.
We're 13th in the world...and most of the countries higher than us are already in a downturn for infections, we're still skyrocketing.

Those magic words again.
The crisis has exposed the deep structural problems in the South African economy and a weakness in macro-economic policy that ensures greater job growth, wealth sharing and redistribution.
No issue here. Tax the feckers if it can be.
• Change how township economic development is regulated and governed so that the assumption is that any business which can be legal, is legal, subject to certain conditions so that businesses can be recognised and funded.
Telling businesses how to do business again, because that always works well.
Introduce a legal framework that will ensure that big retail shops and malls located in townships will seek to partner with local businesses, including sourcing some of their products and services from local producers, service providers and manufacturers within the township economy.
Sounds good to me.
Set up better procurement rules and programmatic support which allow government and its main contractors to buy from large groups of township-based firms, with systems linking them so they can supply if they were one large firm. This will build the capacity to supply the private sector and open private sector markets to township firms by enabling discovery of suppliers, derisking the supply relationship and targeting programmatic support so that it enables delivery. The same will be done with NGO funding to drive the care economy.
A good idea.
• Turn taxi ranks into micro-CBD's, and support the taxi economy to use its scale to grow supporting value chains and industries.
About feking time. This country needs a government-subsidised apprenticeship program, similar to how Australia does.
Accelerate strategies to absorb and mobilise skilled and semi-skilled labour as contractors , taking on unemployed youth as apprentices and employees, as part of a mass scale "new deal" style response to repairing and upgrading public facilities, improving service turnaround times and quality, and improving living conditions in deprived areas in particular.
Hmm, I wonder who the owners of these land parcels will be...
Fast tracking the process to identify and release of strategically located land parcels to assist with spatial transformation by ensuring the development of real integrated human settlements, the challenge of informal settlements, unlock economic opportunities and improve revenue generation streams for municipalities.
Cool racism, bro.
A fiscal stimulus package to Black industrialists across a range of business scale operations from small home-based workshops to large factories.
FFS, we're going to focus trying make money by selling to other poor people...
Identification of niche manufacturing capacity, capability and competitive advantage directed to the 1.2 billion African consumer market
I just stopped reading after Page 36.
It basically just became babble of this and that that need to be fixed but with no plan on how to fix them. It's as if NASA wrote a document saying we need to get to the moon without any solution on how that's going to happen.

For the most part, the document sounds good. But that's the issue. It relies on government officials not being complete retarded corrupted scum to actually work. It requires these people to actually...work.

I do like how they refer to the Asian tigers and they want to emulate them yet they want to do the opposite of what they did...Which was concentrate people into the cities, and industrialise so those people who are in close proximity have jobs and ease of access to work.

Boogeymen are imaginary, literal laws and government officials that are against white people are not.
As you say, use those occular orbs and those acoustic holes since you clearly aren't seeing and hearing what everyone else is.
