Probably still worth a try... perhaps the owner of the Taxi would pay up.

On my way to work this morning, a few of the idiots were driving in the emergency lane and over grass to cut through traffic as usual.
One of them decided to slip past a bus and over the grass.
The fool ended up getting his back wheel caught in a ditch :D didn't look like he was going anywhere soon.
I call that justice!

Cought the whole thing on dash cam

Upload the vid for some good lol's

Don't loose hope before you try. Taxi rammed into the back of my dad a couple of years ago. Was about R15k worth of damage. All the cases etc were opened, the taxi driver said he didn't have the money to pay and asked if he could pay R500 a week or something to that effect. Of course no one believed anything would come from it.

He paid every sent over a period of months, and in some weeks more than the agreed amount if he had it.

It is hard to believe, but there are some decent one's out there, even though their driving styles leaves much to be desired.

Try to settle with him while leaving emotion and the blame game out of the equation and even suggest that he pays you in a couple of installments need be, it is better than nothing or not trying.

I once drove into the side of a taxi when I was learning how drive. There was no major damage just some scratches, the taxi driver was pissed and shouted at me and my driving instructor and told me how he'll sue me. He took my numbers and said he'll call me with the quote. I got robbed the following week and got a new number. So yeah I never paid him. The guilt eats me up everyday :D

To respond to the other question. You can try Dent Doctor in Hennops Park. They're quite good at what they do. I was quite happy with the work they did on my car.
