You can't up the resolution and it is basically a cut + paste port from console. I also hear its buggy as hell, would have loved to buy this game as I heard it's really difficult, but will skip it. Then game developers will say that they don't make PC titles because PC owners don't buy their games, meanwhile we just don't buy half @ssed BS ports.

How can it be buggy if it's not out yet?

I heard they are working on squashing bugs before adding new features. I think you need read properly.

I read that it will be a direct port with no additional features and locked at 30 fps also that the game is really buggy atm (which as you correctly point out isn't damning, I thought it's been released in this state which it hasn't so my bad on that). But with no improved graphics and 30fps lock, what's the point?

It's an awesome game. But more than that, it was a fan requested port. If we want better ports in future we need to show them there's a market for it.

So really it's a chicken and egg situation.

Really? Its not like the PC market is a new market where they need to test the waters. Either make a proper port to PC where there's no 30 fps BS and improve the graphics accordingly or you wont get as many people to buy your game. If I want to entice people to buy my product I don't go out and give them a B grade product and tell 'em "hey! buy this and the next batch will be better!" .. no it works the other way around.

I agree with Cloudster. I read on GameRant (I think) a few days ago that the PC version is having troubles in the fact that its quite buggy and what not. What's the point of getting a game if its gonna run badly? Like the PC version of GTA4. Oh man, that game pissed me off so much. I had to tweak a few txt files in order for it to run smooth. For some reason the fellas that handled the PC port couldn't do it themselves.

I think you under-estimate the size of the PC market. More people pirate games than buy them. It's just not financially viable to make the investments required to get all the PC specific stuff. I'll be surprised it even gets 200 000 sales on PC.

Just go to vgchartz and compare the sales of any multiplatform game. While there might be one or two exceptions, by far console sales outstrip PC sales.

It's just not worth it because hardly anyone on PC buys games anymore.

I was so amped for this, but I've also heard the rumors of the crappy port in the making. Might as well just go buy it for my ps3 and get it over with.
