:mad:I have been a Vodacom subscriber for many a year with no real issues, but when things go wrong boy they go wrong. I have a 10Gb data contract which ran out and so i bought a 5Gb bolt on online to add to my existing account , which I do regularly with no issues, until now. As soon as I bought the data, Vodacom cancelled it without letting me know and because my contract is open ended, you can guess what horror waited for me at the end of the month. This has never happened to me before as i keep an eye on my data use, I don't use the Vodacom online as it doesn't work half the time or is out of date, you would think vodacom would have at least let me know my bundle had been cancelled, but not on your nellie. I have escalated the issue but without any real hope of resolution - but let this be a warning for others to beware nothing is ever as it seems with Vodacom

Shame man.. that's hard times!
One thing that irritates me about Vodacom is inconsistency. Sometimes, outside of my monthly data bundle, I buy a daily internet/voice bundle for whatever the need might be.. sometimes, it works perfectly. Friday i noticed i did the same, and it took data out of my monthly bundle instead of the daily. Now I did not use enough to deplete my monthly, however if someone had a 250mb monthly bundle, with a 100mb daily (R10), they will lose 100mb of that 250mb before getting to the daily bundle.

has anyone else seen this?

Switch to prepaid and dump your contract.
I would if i wasn't using so much data, I don't have any other options, Vodacom is my only service provider so basically i am being held hostage- So if anyone wants to rescue me here is my bank details S@@## Bank acc no 666 lol

Have you looked at Afrihost's mobile voice products? Tons of data and only month to month, no contracts.

Would love to except it uses MTN and we don't have coverage, I have been toying with satellite but none of them beat Vodacom.
