Data bundles on pre-paid?

Is this possible with MTN, or can you only do it with a contract sim?

IF it is possible with pre-paid, how do you go about loading it onto your sim?

Hi

It is available to prepaid. Make sure you have the relevant amount of airtime in the account. Then dial 141 and make the selection.

Ah...so are you saying that if I buy R250 airtime, when I load it I need to specify that it is for data? Do the same rates apply? i.e. is R250 = 500MBs?

No, you load the airtime as per normal. Then dial 141 and select to purchase the bundle using the airtime

I just have one last question: is it 30 days from the time of loading the airtime or opting for the bundle using 141. In other words, if I was to load R250 airtime today and only activate the bundle in a weeks time, would the 30 days start from today or from when I load the bundle?
