DATA disappearing telkom LTE

I have a 5GB Telkom LTE package for home. I have had it for a year now but each month I noticed by the 5th or 6th of the month the 5gb was totally used up despite me only using it occasionally at night to browse the internet. I never use youtube and don't download movies I only download windows updates on the work Wifi. I raised this with Telkom and sent them screen shots over a 22 hour period showing that nothing was connected to the router but it uses 1.1mb per minute and you can watch it consuming at that exact rate over an hour which 66mb per hour and 1.5gb per day. I raised this issue with Telkom and they tell me they can find nothing wrong and that it is acceptable to use this per day despite nothing being connected to the router B315.
Is this normal and acceptable ? and is anyone else having this problem
ps I have changed the Wifi password twice with no effect

Anything connected via the ethernet cable?

Could be a update process on the router that gets frozen/stuck. Maybe flash router with newest firmware.

Another victim of Windows 10 updating then crashing and then downloading again, I guess.
