Data entry point not found

After re-booting after I have installed new VMC software I get the following error message when my notebook starts up:

Setup.exe - Entry point not found

The procedure entry point ?SwiStopNotify@@YA?AW4SWI_RCODE@@W4SWI_TYPE_Notify@@K@Z could not be located in the dynamic lnk library Swi32_AC710.dll

I tried calling 155, but whenever the callback services does work, the call is dropped immediately.

Sounds like you have a malware infection [probably something called MSS], which you need to get rid of before re-attempting the VMC installation, I recommend that you first uninstall VMC [since it was partially installed], and then use anti-malware tools to disinfect your PC:

Also make sure you have a decent firewall installed.

PS: Do not trust other software that claims to do free malware removal - it is usually malware s/w in disguise.

i am getting teh same kind of error. I am running webroot spysweeper onmy laptop which have always taken care of all malware.

Definitely malware, seen it before, think i used the microsoft antispyware off the microsoft website to sort the problem out
