Data recovery tool

Hi there folks

So I've found an old hard drive during a random unpacking session at home and wanted to check what's on it but I can't access the data at all. Damaged sectors and what not.

Is there a free recovery tool available, because so far all the trial versions end up in a selling effort?

Normally one would ask yourself how valuable the data is to you and based on that one could justify forking out R980 for the data recovery software.

Unfortunately I have no clue what's on there, just super curious

filescavenger saved me plenty times, The free version will allow you to scan and see whats recoverable, but recover
