Data Sharing on MTN 50GB Black Friday Deal

Does anyone here know whether we can data share on any of those MTN 50GB promotions that have been running lately. Someone told me only the 2Gb can be shared the 50GB promotional data cannot- dunno if this is true.

I'm quite intrigued to know how that is technically possible. If you set your phone as a hotspot, or use it in a modem, how in the world can the data output be limited?

Don't confuse MTN's data share feature with hotspot wireless tethering. They fundamentally different.

Creating a wireless hotspot using your MTN sim is possible, adding MTN users to your data share portfolio in the hope of sharing your 50GB promotional data is not.

The link you posted says you can share your data bundle. So doesn't the 50Gb form part of your bundle? I'm confused.
