Netflix's password sharing crackdown paying off in the US — study

Netflix's crackdown on password sharing has continued to help drive new subscriptions to the popular streaming service in the US, according to a study by Antenna.

The firm uses a combination of information — including purchase receipts, card and banking data, and bill scraping — to calculate Netflix's new subscribers.

Given the quality of Netflix content these days, I'm surprised that people who previously got the service for free would now choose to pay for it, rather than just giving up watching anything on Netflix.

That headline...ooooff. Thought I was having a stroke.

Is it really "working paying" though? I was blocked but simply asked my bro to click accept on his phone and now we are sharing again...
I personally don't know if it works, but as I understand it, if he accepted your request you are now the home base, all other devices will get access for 30 days or 7 can't remember then they have to connect to the home base IP again. Or something of the sort.

That's what they say and doing, if they are actually implementing the blocking is another question.
