André de Ruyter agrees to appear before Parliament

Parliament’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) says André de Ruyter has indicated he is willing to appear in person to answer their questions about his ANC corruption allegations.

This comes after the former Eskom CEO gave an explosive interview to Annika Larsen on E-tv’s My Guest Tonight.

Why has Pravin not been summoned.

Would only do it via Webex or some online platform.

Oh wait that would require a tender to install SKYPE.

Well then, what a brave man.

Condolences to his spouse and issue, if any at all.

I wonder if "in person" would equate to him virtually appearing.... and we can see him sitting on a lovely beach somewhere.

He can appear in parliament just for the ANC to serve papers on him as the ANC said they can't find him to sue him.

Ah...so April finally got his wish.
Wonder if he'll smoke AdR now that he traced and found him.

Technically it is allowed, but not advisable in a court hearing where evidence is presented. For the current reasons and purposes I don't think there is cause to appear in person, but it would provide credence and urgency.

The case made by the ANC that de Ruyter disappeared is rubbish, all ANC PR talk.

Yeah we all know that the ANC nonsense about him disappearing was rubbish...

He was either at his home (wherever that is), or he had got on a plane and left the country and it wouldn't have taken very long to get either bit of info.

ADR is a Brave man to even stand and allow himself to be questioned in Parliament.
he said what he meant, now hes probably in hiding under a false name under a Rock so the ANC hitmen cant finish him off.

So if he does appear before Parliment - a whole lot of stuff will be thrown out. After a couple of months they will decide to form a committee to probe this stuff. A judge will be appointed. There will be hearings. Five years from now the findings will be published and recomedations made .. and then Fvck all will happen except cost the Tax payers another few Billion .. I'm sure I've seen this movie before !!
