Deadlock: Valve's new MOBA

I will install it as soon as I have a new PC. AMD keeps on pushing things back I am considering...

It is good to see the attention that the game is receiving.

It's giving me Valorant vibes though. Super competitive no just chill and play.

Fun game. Now I can actually play 3rd person dota 2 (aka Deadlock) without touching dota 2.

Great innovation for people who hate Dota 2 but want to play dota 2 with friends. I hated DOta 2 but this a tolerable form of Dota 2.

I've been playing a little the last week. It definitely is a fun game

Finally got to give it a try
Definitely not an overwatch killer to me
Smite 2 on the other hand needs to watch it back...

All round pretty fun (after you buy reload upgrades)

OK so ive played 30 hours. I ****ing love it. (I have 5500 hours in DotA so this is basically crack to me)

The fact that this is a early beta is crazy to me, they could release this as a full game right now

Knowing the support DotA and CS have gotten over the last 10 years, this is going to only get better every month

Valve do have their bloopers they don't talk about. They best keep Deadlock a hit, and not a miss.

No, really??? Actually, cheaters have been reported more than two weeks ago already.

funny how things turned out, i moderated the deadlock discord server and banned a few cheaters in game (volunteer work). hop in to help valve develop the game, they are really open to changing the game based on feedback and communicating with the community pretty often!

This is the source engine, always been very vulnerable with lacklustre anti-cheat implements by Valve. Banning cheaters are still remote in Deadlock, and in time Valve will deploy VACnet.

Not being a DotA player myself, Deadlock seems like it has the complication of the DotA shop in combination with being a fast paced FPS. I'd rather just learn to play DotA then if I have to learn about items required for successful builds

Not a comment on the game itself being good or bad, just it's not what I'm into right now.

Don't worry. I hated dota but love this game. Yeah the shop is tricky but I think with enough time it will get easier and more clear how everything works.

New anti-cheat in Deadlock will allow players to turn cheaters into frogs for the rest of the game."When a user is detected as cheating, during the game session the opponents will be given a choice between banning the user immediately and ending the match or turning the cheater into a frog for the rest of the game and then banning them afterwards."

I wish so much that I can play the game at this moment, but I don't have a 'gaming' PC in the current. Happy to see the game being positively received.

I played a few games on Saturday after the rugby. The game is addicting, as a league player, it scratches the itch of play a MOBA. Its honestly unhealthy how much I thought about the game after playing it once.

Deadlock developers just added a new Ranked gamemode:
