If any of the Telkom-employees are reading this, please take note of the following argument:

One of the main uses and advantages of Broadband Internet is that it makes realtime internet possible. This is the Big Nice Thing about broadband, together with some other advantages. If this is not possible, an ISDN or modem line may be a serious alternative for me and many others.

The 3 Gig cap results in a situation where I can do realtime internet (streaming etc) only for about one or two weeks in amonth.

Do Telkom realise what an attractive product ADSL will be if people start to tell each other that they can surf real-time on the internet for a whole month?

If I listen to an internet radio station the whole day, together with some downloads, I use about 300 Meg per day. This gives about 9 Gig per month. Add another 1 Gig for some other activities, and we get a comfortable 10 Gig, which will make a lot of customers happy, and will attract a lot more.

Internationally they get 1 Gig per day, and more, but we understand that Africa is not there yet, so let us make it 10 Gig per month.

You must admit that the 3 Gig cap is an experiment, and it is too low.

Give us 10 Gig, and you will have a lot of content, (not happy, but content) existing customers, and your potential customer base will grow substantially.

Regards
