Angelo - at the time of the Zooma trial I gave some consideration to the issue of white judges: the 'defense' is that judge's follow the rule of the law - whether it is a right or wrong law - it is not their job to create law - simply to carry it out. The anc being the autocrats that they are - do you really think they would allow white judges if they were biased - would anything stand for biased white judges - I think not. In contrast to the black judges which have been in the news of late - inept, uncaring, incompetent. Certainly in issues of defense courts can be biased - but not an issue of judges (otherwise we wouldn't have any.)
I don't support the death penalty - but when I see what goes on - and the horrific personal tales on this very thread - then I think the death penalty is unfortunately something that should be an option.
/much sympathy LabAnimal -.
Gentleman Angelo just occupies a human skin. Some of the blokes being banned at least had an opinion. He just posts, run and ask silly questions to annoy any and everybody.
There is another thread about judges in this forum.
I happened to know the magistrate who sentenced Yengeni and was present with his sentencing more than 4years ago.
He was as guilty as sin and was looking 10-12 years straight in the face.
Then Angelo's gang got together and did their best to get him off scottfree with a plea bargaining exercise. They didn't do to badly. He got 4 years of which he must do 8 months. Mark my words.
Come jail time. Exactly what we expect from Angelo's gang. He claims to be bambooseled and everybody jumps on the bandwagon. The deputy speaker, prime ministers and how many officials. Respect for the law.
Angelo. You want to tell me accepting a 1/2 million vehicle at 1/2 price from a supplier of the weapons deal are fine. Because the man is poor and previously disadvantaged? The judge was white and biassed?
Do you have any brains?
