I have never had the urge to install Debian, of all the distros I have tested in the past (Gentoo, Mandrake/Mandriva, *buntu, Slackware, Vector, PCLinuxOS, Fedora, RedHat, SuSE, Linspire, Puppy, DSL, etc.) Debian is the ONLY one I have never tried. I don't know, something just puts me off, every time I go to the website to download the ISO I have this urge to just soldier on and not bother.

Yay! Now testing can start moving forward again :)

My main server is still running Etch - maybe I'll upgrade it now...

Your loss.

I know, but I never had any curiosity towards Debian, strange since I'm the guy that tried everything I could find.

Woohoo, I was messing around with this beta, not too bad :)

Problem with debian is that is just aint as pretty as sabayon or ubuntu, we are in the
need for eye candy!

Yeah, Debian pretty much gives you a generic build of every desktop. Ubuntu does a pretty nice job of polishing a turd (read Gnome). Doesn't make a difference to me, I use KDE :)
