Just a reminder to all, and you might want to pass it on

TELKOM CHARGES NORMAL PHONE RATES ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Do not sit on the phone - Do not sit on the Internet in non callmore time (dial-up)

Even on a public holiday Telkom suckers you out of your hard earned money

Such are the doings of a morally bankrupt company that are only interested in taking money whenever they can. Blessed are the meek, for they will be ripped off whenever possible

Indeed, I was caught unawares many years back. I just assumed that public holidays qualified as callmore time. NOT so.

eek.. i always thought it was call more time :(

It's a good thing Christmas falls on a weekend this year - people can afford to make calls!

SHHHHHH!!! Dont let telscum hear that or they'll find a way to screw us over et again

Thats why cell operators are cool, public holidays are Off-Peak :)

I am talking about people that have packags that can use their Free Minutes over off-peak times.

Also unless you have a SMS Bundle, it will cost you and the other party (total costs) more in the end for a longer conversation. If you had to have numerous sms's.

I am on Talk 120 + SMS 200, so I dont really care what the hell I do... lol
