From my understanding with this all after i changed the band to 1800Mhz it seems to have just improved the router, although their site says they use the 2300Mhz band but i didnt even see that in the toolbox. I have now received a SINR of 25 even after this. Also tonight i have had no lag at all, but the true test will be in hatfield tomorrow.

1800 more congestion to my knowledge but yes better signal through walls. See the mybb article on degrading LTE speeds.

Which band do you think is the best then ?
The 2300 is supposed to be less congested. Its of course weaker and 1800 signal will be stronger but more devices access it. From the mybb article published yesterday it seems that Telkom provided access to the fixed lte via 1800 as well to enable more users/devices access. 2300 is unusual I believe? Its speculation on part of mybb that this may have caused the degraded speeds.

Have you had bad speeds tonight as i must say for the past 2 nights i did although after tonight it seems to be perfect, especially in terms of Ping to steam/Dota2

Thank you so much for the advice on the toolbox forced LTE-A and had stable ping the whole evening. The speeds were the usual +20mb but the ping was good

i also forced LTA-A, made absolutely no difference. Unless i have to switch back to 1800MHZ ?

My SNR went from 30 -> 25 and my RSSI/RSSP keep forgetting went from 82 -> 75. It was 5 bars before and it was 5 bars after the change.

The speeds remained the same but the latency was the best I have ever seen.

Are you on 1800mhz or 2300mhz? (its on 1800mhz by default it would seem)

Villieria/Waverley area.

Using external antenna, but I have 5 bar signal with or without the external antenna. Few hundred metres from 2 base stations - one MTN (closest) and one Telkom.

There is no LTA-A in pta to my understanding yet, i did that in carlswald and when i came to pta to test it here the LTA-A doesnt help it at all. The only option in PTA well in hatfield is for me to use 2300Mhz band which has its moments. At night it can be slow. In Carlswald i havent had a slow moment.

In Pta now this is my current signal etc

PCI: 242
CELL_ID: 2893826
RSRP: -95dBm
SINR: 4dB

I have only got 3 bars of 5 signal

This was the most recent speed test. I cant use the external antenna as it just simply doesnt help me with here i am located, and the 1800Mhz band doesnt help me here which sucks

Last Result:
Download Speed: 21723 kbps (2715.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1024 kbps (128 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 50 ms
Jitter: 8 ms
