If I am supposed to be doing 6 modules first semester and i cancel one of them worth 12 credits, and at the end of three years my qualification is supposed to have 365 credits, and i have 353 since i cancelled first year, will it affect me graduating?

Yes I believe it will affect you graduating. I know at UKZN they will never allow you to graduate if you do not complete the required amount of credits. Even if it is a single 8 credit module

If you can, try speak to the lecturer and ask if there will be a make up test, and if you will be allowed to register.
Second year modules on its own will require most of your time and to add another module will just be added stress. It will also be an issue if the module you dropped is a prerequisite for either a second semester module or a second year module.
I failed one module in my second year and that caused my 4 year degree to stretch into 5 years

it does not have a second semester part, just 101 and no other modules pre require it throughout the 3 years, thats why i had actually cancelled it, but i'll confirm if i can register first year modules at second year level or a make up test.
