Hi guys,

So I’m currently looking to get a monitor and am able to get the Dell SE2719HR at a very very good price. A little google search shows good reviews, just looking for someone who might have first hand experience.

the monitor will be mated to a LIVA Z ultra compact pc. No special needs for the monitor but at the price I’m getting it I figured I won’t get anything else that really compares for R1700.
Basically I’m stuck between getting the monitor or throwing in some extra cash and just buying a 32” tv for the LIVA. I do however think that a monitor is a better investment should I decide to repurpose for a gaming pc or CCTV monitor in future.

Any info would be appreciated.

R1700 is normal "special" price and goes for that regularly.

But I am busy replacing all mine with the P27 / 19 series.

Get the P series rather. Can adjust the height, portrait or landscape and use a mount. Also have better ports and USB input if you want.

But if you are not interested in mounting it in the future, being able to adjust they height and the colour accuracy for photo editing. The SE27 is a nice monitor for the price.

Thanks for the speedy response. So like I said no special purpose for the monitor and I’m looking for something nice at a good price.

I didn’t see the price of R1700 anywhere accept for the guy who’s getting me the monitor, closest I’ve seen online was R2800. Thanks for the post on price though, I’m using the screenshot to get me a better price. He owes me a favor hence the good pricing he was supposed to be giving me

Ah, sorry you are right. I am thinking about the SE24. For the SE27 that is a giveaway. Like you said, doing you a favour or old stock / demo / refurbished/ zero warranty etc.

New item with full warranty. Managed to drop down to R1500 for me, so thanks again for that post it saved me R200 haha.
Will try and find time to collect it later today.

So I’ve just bought a pc and monitor package for R3500 where the Monitor on its own would have been almost R3500. I feel like I’ve scored today (if I didn’t please don’t correct me as I’m feeling good right now)

Price sounds a little too good at R1500, personally 1080p on 27" monitor is too pixelated. But if you have no qualms then its a steal.

It’s not something you’ll find in store. A friend owed me a favor and organized it for me dirt cheap.

trying to get another one but would Have to wait until next month some time for it.

Like I said no big need for the best out there. Before this I was just going to get anything basic and probably something smaller. However the deal I could not refuse... I even ended up paying less than the R1500 for it

Just as I open up the LIVA I get asked to run an errand. All my excitement opening up and getting ready to tinker has been spoilt. Looks like I’ll be playing around tomorrow.
