Traffic i just as bad as ever. Try 4 ways to Sandton at 8am and then do the trip again at 5am.
While I live in CT, I have some mates around that area tell me that WFH is still the better option due to the traffic, etc.

We used to be based in Sandton (now WFH), and went in to Sandton for a couple of days last week for planning sessions. I don't think I'd enjoy the traffic anymore, even though it was much better than it used to be (it used to be 75 min each way, last week was about 35 min).

I was last in Jozi (Sandton) pre-Rona days, checking if it is still a cesspool?
Non functioning traffic lights, potholes aplenty, garbage all over the place, dodgy characters aplenty...

One good thing from Covid and lockdowns is that WFH has been shown to be able to work in a lot of scenarios.
So much so that not having to be in an office full time is on a lot of people's wishlists now when they job hunt.
I changed jobs and I cannot see me going back to a job that requires full time in the office
I get back between 10 and 15 hours every week now that I dont have to travel.
Used to change cars every 3 years. Only put on 16000km in the last 2 years

Don't know. It's way better for me since Covid and people now WFH. Though my hours are not the typical ones that most work. I go in between 9am and 10am and leave between 5pm and 6pm. It's a been free-flowing this whole year so far. I drive in from Rivonia side.

demand rises is a rather meaningless statement

excess demand would be more positive
