Take your head out you arse, they've been crying 'impeach' since day one, nothing impartial about any of em

To be fair, I have said that Rashida Tlaib - who is in the *House* and *won't* be a juror - should use the clip where she says "Impeach the mofo" with the tagline "Promises Made, Promises Kept" as a re-election campaign.

Anyway, so no quotes from Dem Senators then?

Oh well.

Impeachment in this case is merely a formal rebuke, where charges were laid in the House. Those who voted for impeachment have alleged wrongdoing by Trump.

They haven't 'alleged' wrongdoing by Trump. They have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that the Trump team committed wrongdoing. The federal watchdog said they broke the law. It should not just be a formal rebuke.

Friend, what would have been your reaction had it come out that Ramaphosa had conditioned aid to, say, Botswana, on their president announcing an investigation into Helen Zille?
That depends on whether Zilles son is also a dodgy redneck.
The newspaper reports a DNA test filed in court Wednesday showed with “scientific certainty” that Hunter Biden is the father of a child with Lunden Alexis Roberts. The baby was born in August 2018, while Hunter was in a relationship with Hallie Biden, who was previously married to Hunter’s older brother Beau Biden, who died of brain cancer in 2015.
Page Six reports Hunter and Hallie Biden broke up in April after nearly two years of dating.
Roberts filed a paternity suit in May, the same month Hunter Biden, 49, married Melissa Cohen, 33, after just six days of dating. Biden denied having an affair with Roberts and agreed to the DNA test to try and prove the child is not his.

All I can say is Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.

If you think that's bad, you should read about Trump and Trump Jr's misadventures with women and prostitutes. But that is beside the point. You've not answered the essence of the question, which is telling, but not surprising.

The fact that youre trying to compare Zille to Biden is so ludicrous that I had to respond in kind.

John Steenhuisen's son then; the son of the official opposition leader.

Assuming that Steenhuisen's son was a lawyer with his own international consulting firm, and that he was on the board of a Botswana mining company that, preceding the son having joined the company, had been investigated for corruption, and that Ramaphosa had conditioned aid to Botswana on their president announcing an investigation into Steenhuisen's son...

What would your reaction be?

This entire saga is typical media sensationalism which the public feeds on like hungry wolves. I personally focus on things that matter - something which we, here, in Trumps shythole can only dream about like unemployment being the lowest in 50 years.

Absolutely Nothing
Because this after all an African country where its par for course.

If you have a rapist president who sold his entire country off to 2 Indian businessmen at the blessing of all his cohorts, then a Steenhuisen/Ramaphosa political saga would be nothing.
Most of this is media sensationalism trying to tap into a Watergate type frenzy and the drama that goes with it.

A brief interchange between Sanders and Warren and it literally became the only story out of the US yesterday.

Oh is it rape allegations that would bother you about a president?

Or selling off the country to foreign business interests?

I have said it before. Not until Trump became president could I understand how the supporters of the EFF and ANC could blissfully ignore, excuse, defend and even justify the corruption.

Trump's presidency opened my eyes to this phenomenon.
