Very unlikely any international private partnership interest truly exists since the previous article stated most of your key human resources had already left the sinking ship. Plus most of the IP was already stolen by the looters.

FFS, nobody calls it the Red Falcon, please change the headline to Rooivalk.
The writing in this article opening is bad.
An attack helicopter known as the red falcon and an array of missiles, artillery and drones are products Denel SOC Ltd., which traces its roots to the arms company set up by South Africa to bypass sanctions during apartheid, is trying to save as it struggles to stay afloat.
So not a proper noun?

Why not just open with explaining the name. Instead, this, convoluted, sentence having to explain it after the fact...
The state company is seeking seeking equity partners for a number of units including the one that makes the Rooivalk, or Red Falcon, helicopter and says it has had a number of expressions of interest from local and foreign defense companies.

It's doubtful whether the Rooivalk remains a viable weapons platform after the years of delays and competition from other more capable international alternatives.

Blame Bloomberg and Loni Prinsloo which authored the article, and whichever editor approved.
For Bloomberg its fine, they aren't local and they have an international audience, Mybb and Jamie needs to demonstrate some spine.

WTF is a Red Falcon lmao.
We don't say Badger IFV.
We don't say Elephant Tank.
We don't say ZT3 Leopard ATGM.

It's the Rooivalk.
It's the Ratel IFV.
It's the Olifant Tank.
It's the ZT3 Ingwe ATGM.

I have hear Badger quite a lot though

Considering our operations environment, it's too advanced actually, needs to be more Springbok skin and Spear in order to be utilised effectively by the current regime.

Yes, but isn't their article, or content to be precise, to edit.

I believe they are allowed to make discretionary remarks below the article where they could illustrate corrections to better serve their audience.

All I am saying is that the mob is targeting the messenger.
