Dents from others opening their doors against your car

Found one on my driver door, my car is just over 2 years old and in virtually immaculate condition - until that damn dent. Now to find someone in Durban who can sort it out at a reasonable price :/

I now have 2 contacts so if the one is busy, I will use the other guy. I found both of these via car dealerships.

My suggestion is to chat to someone you know at a car dealership - they will be able to give you the number of "a guy". As I discovered, the official Dent Doctor type okes are stupidly expensive for the same job.

I managed to have all the dents in the 2 cars removed today. Dent guy pointed out a 3rd one on my vehicle which I hadn't even noticed yet!

4 dents removed for R550 and my OCD is at peace again.

Sadly, you could not be more right. I am going to be parking even further from entrances or other cars going forward..... will see if that saves my doors.

I tried to talk nicely to my wife to do the same with hers and she just moaned........

Car manufacturers should bring back that rubber strip running along the side of the cars. It saved a lot of heartache.

yes my beemer has it - never had a problem with dents and I can say I've "park in" some retards - who for some reason seem to think they OWN both parking bays!! which just happen to be the only available parking bay at the time.

Let us know if you find someone reasonable in Durban. I have a dent in my rear panel from a large and enthusiastic dog jumping into the car with his paws

No man, I would freak!!

I have this terrible habit of staring down both sides of our vehicles after carwash Sunday. I really need to stop actively searching for them because I get into a bad mood with mild panic immediately and until they are removed.

Goes without saying that my cars are great second hand buys....

Maybe you should take up 2 parking spaces next time.
Apart from getting famous on the "bad parking thread", your problems will be sorted.

Doing that with company signage will quickly get me onto the local Facebook nag pages....

Don't worry. It's good for business. Before that no one even knew your business existed.
