There seems to be a different law for these guys than for you and me???Eyewitness News understands that Tshwane metro police deputy chief Ndumiso Jaca is trying to cover his tracks following revelations that he has been driving two vehicles with the same false number plate.
It has further emerged that his BMW sports coupe was not registered or licensed while he was using it with official police lights.
Traffic data base records now show that Ndumiso Jaca has registered his BMW Z4 and the car's false number plate.
The BMW only passed a roadworthy test last Tuesday, more than three years after the deputy metro chief bought the de-registered car from a scrap dealer and after an Eyewitness News exposé.
The data base entry show that he registered BALTY-GP on Wednesday and on Thursday the BMW was recorded on the system with the same number plate.
While the car went thorugh a roadworthy test in Johannesburg, it was registered in the Mabopane licensing office.
A criminal case has been opened against him for using false number plates.
Meanwhile, Jaca has not responded to a request for comment.
