"Eskom is unstable and collapsing — Deputy President"
First time I've agreed with DP.

Those who can have installed a generator or better still PV+Inverter+Lithium battery to avoid the inevitable collapse of Eskom.

Coming to think of it, those ex-paying customers that have gone off grid are making it worse of Eskom "death spiral"

This will help the individual, electricity is used to run critical infrastructure so yes while a backup system is nice to have, if the grid collapses we ALL in trouble..let's hope it doesn't come to that and Eskom can pull through somehow..

The military is bored, get them to run security at the main power station.

I still wonder if this isnt anything to do with Mantashe trying to force through the powership deals without proper approvals. I remember it was all over the news and suddenly all that news has been deleted.
Negative, too busy with Missions to protect from the Covid and patrol the beach;)

What did the ANC expect... 27 years of more corruption than maintenance and you expect a whitey to fix your mess in 1 to 2 years. As for the debt... that should be offloaded to tax payers as VAT; raise it to 40%+ to ensure the morons who keep the ANC in power feel the consequence of their poor decisions at the polls.

If you have seen the Carte Blanche epsiode on the Beitbridge border, you would not want the SANDF doing any security work

De Ruyter wants private renewable generation and Gwede won't be able to get government coal tenders if that happens. Gwede will go to the grave in a coal coffin before he sees South Africa go down the route of private renewable generation

Not like the white executives have anything to complain about.
What white executives?
Soe don't employ whites, surely you know that.. Bee and beeeee and stuff..
Oh, except the few to take the blame for what black executives have already destroyed.

Watched this this morning, very interesting.

Now waiting for some bright spark (pun intended) in the ANC to come out and tell us the next revolution will be electromagnetic waves.....no wires needed, no power stations needed. Magic.

So, to be consistent in the thinking, if De Ruyter must be fired over poor load-schedding figures, I'm sure Sanral must be closed down due to too many accident deaths on our roads? Sounds fair to me...

And our health minister over COVID-19 deaths

And our water and sanitation minister for pit toilet deaths

and our finance minister for job losses

and our tourism minister due to Covid job losses

A (very) Shorter list would be the ones that you keep.
