Vague, nonsensical response seemingly pulled out of nothing to my original question. Carry on then.

500000+ Africans get into that country and here we are struggling, even with good post-matric qualifications and experience.
How?
FFS I was talking about my wife and myself. Jeez...how "nowhere" are you?
Are they though? And maybe not. I have a commerce Honours degree, my wife's a pharmacist. Since you don't know me from a bar of soap you wouldn't know that. You seem to find it hard to believe that those Africans getting in are more skilled and hardworking than you and your wife.

It was a rhetorical question, and you lot are assuming they're all vastly educated. OUtside of the Green Card it becomes very difficult to get into the USA unless you have close on a million dollars to invest, or some company picks you up. 500000+ people in 4 years in a country with unemployment going up yearly...? Either unskilled or other ways via refugee status possibly.

"Refugees"...Refuges aren’t immigrants
Refuges aren’t immigrants
Refugees aren’t immigrants
Sure, but they're always a seperate statistic because they don't know where they'll live permanently. In many cases they do end up being immigrants.
Africa takes 2 steps forward, 1 step sideways, two back. Without effective cyber security policies it remains an elusive pipe dream for most.Without all the details you have no idea if they’re in the US. Africa still needs to come online so the type of work matters.
419 scams are an interesting concept.Africa takes 2 steps forward, 1 step sideways, two back. Without effective cyber security policies it remains an elusive pipe dream for most.
Although I guess those guys the US get extradited, do manage to make it to the US though. Unfortunately they get sent home once their time is up.![]()
Actually, they don't get much traction.419 scams are an interesting concept.
Exactly why they’re an interesting concept.Actually, they don't get much traction.
Go big, go BEC, go to the US of A - air fare paid.![]()
Except blow it they do. Tens tons of bling is mandatory for starters ...Exactly why they’re an interesting concept.
“Don't Blow it. Keep it simple. Count your money."

You can have illegal immigrants, but you don't get illegal refugees.
Yes that’s my point, you don’t get illegal refugees. You do. A refugee has to apply for political asylum in the first country they land in outside their home country. You don't get to choose which country you apply for asylum in by illegally crossing multiple borders.
There are African "refugees" (Sudanese mostly) entering the USA through it's border with Mexico, too. How many safe countries do you reckon they've passed through to get there? And never mind the Syrian, Iraqi and Afghanistani migrants landing on Kent's beaches every day (that's about 10 safe countries that had to be passed through). You do. Once you go further than the first safe country, you instantly become an economic migrant and should have the asylum seeker status revoked immediately. No free ride. No benefits.
Yes that’s my point, you don’t get illegal refugees.
It’s a legal definition.
You forgot asylum seeker.Citizen, permanent resident, refugee and immigrant are all legal definitions. Your point?
