Does anybody use this high gain antenna from poynting, and if so what is your experience?

The outdoor units have been used with very good results. AFAIK, we've not used the desktop versions yet.

Antenna connector for Vodafone 3G/GPRS

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know the connector type and sex for the socket on the PCMCIA unit? I thought it was MCX female, but it seems not when I compare to a sample.

Best to check with Poynting / Dartcomm. The make the antennas / leads so might be able to help you.

The connectors tend to vary from card to card.
