Looking at about an hour or so away from Cape Town.

On the cheap if possible for 25-27 January 2012.

I don't want any neighbours around as I'm planning on making a bit of noise.
When I say noise, I mean my accoustic guitar, an electric guitar and small amp and a snare, high-hat, bass drum and one Tom and perhaps a keyboard.
I'll be recording it myself in sessions.

Won't be excessively loud, as my stuff is more mellow, accoustic based.

I just need a getaway to lay some demo's down. No privacy where I stay and the city is sucking my creative juices.

Need a bed, electricity (hot water), lounge, braai spot (or not), small stove, small fridge.

Any recommendations or suggestions?

//squeeeeeezzzzzz

Why?
cuz I will either:

A) poke my eye out

or

B) my eyes may pop out of their sockets

I wont know which until I see you. So I think, until such time as I see you, I will stay on the safe side. I like my eyes.

Studios vary from R150 to R450 or R600 an hour.

Did some studio time a few months ago and it was R1k for the day.
I'm not really looking for a studio experience again.

Just want some time to get the ideas out that are in my head, have a drink, laze away and be inspired by surroundings and a good buzz.

R300 a night would be the marker I'm looking at, solo.

If I were to take my mate with who helps out on lead guitar and bass, I could up it.
But not sure if I want company on this trip.
Also he doesn't drink or have coffee - Morman :p - but he's a helluva musician and lead guitarist in my book. And fills my songs with ideas that I couldn't think of.

I like hiking and this looks great, but doesn't seem like its going to fit the bill for what I need in this instance.
There will never be a moment where you feel more alive than paddling up the Kleinemond West in a 2 man canoe with all your electrical equipment stowed up infront of you.
