Despite challenges, SA much better than it was 29 years ago: Mashatile

I think he was talking about the black culture of Africa.

He said:

So yes, black people. It's an obvious fact to anyone who hasn't got their head stuck up their ass. Unpopular, uncomfortable, politically incorrect, but a fact nonetheless.

Of course there are exceptions and there are some very capable black people. But as a rule and as a race. No.

He mentioned race, that means all black people.

If he means leadership on the African continent, well that is another thing all together.

There are competent (well as competent as the incompetent white people :) ) black people in the UK government and other countries.
Culture and education, not race, determines if you can be a competent leader or not.

It's about culture, not race.

You raise a white baby in a black family, that WHITE baby will grow up with the same culture as their parents and siblings. Same thing if a black baby was raised in a white family.

You pointing fingers at skin colour is just plain ignorance on your part.

It is about culture, education (and where you received it) and how you were raised and what wealth class you belong to.

Skin colour means nothing, that thinking is so 1930s. We know better now.

If YOU, Velskoen, were raised in a poor, ANC supporting household, you would grow up to be just like your parents. YOU are a product of your surroundings and upbringing. YOU are nothing special.
ANY black baby is capable of speaking the queens English and governing a country properly if they went to Eton, played polo with the elite and studied after school. If they were raised in the same environment, they would be no different to a white kid.

Your racism is just plain stupid and again based on ignorance.
"Acting, politics, and sports have become, as they were in Nero’s reign, interchangeable. In an age of images and entertainment, in an age of instant emotional gratification, we neither seek nor want honesty or reality. Reality is complicated. Reality is boring. We are incapable or unwilling to handle its confusion. We ask to be indulged and comforted by clichés, stereotypes, and inspirational messages that tell us we can be whoever we seek to be, that we live in the greatest country on earth, that we are endowed with superior moral and physical qualities, and that our future will always be glorious and prosperous, either because of our own attributes or our national character or because we are blessed by God. In this world, all that matters is the consistency of our belief systems. The ability to amplify lies, to repeat them and have surrogates repeat them in endless loops of news cycles, gives lies and mythical narratives the aura of uncontested truth. We become trapped in the linguistic prison of incessant repetition. We are fed words and phrases like war on terror or pro-life or change, and within these nar- row parameters, all complex thought, ambiguity, and self-criticism vanish."

Yeah I see, when you have no rebuttal to the points that have been made, just quote some passage that could apply to so many different scenarios. Got it.

I hoped someone more intelligent than I could communicate it more simply for you. Alas.....

I'll redact it even further for you:

Hope that helps. Good luck with your journey. The path of enlightenment has many twists and turns, dead ends and uphills.

Everyone heard you perfectly fine the first time around, there's absolutely no need for philosophical extracts.

Hearing and comprehending are as far removed from each other as the East from the West. Glad you got it first time round Champ.
