Hi,

We have just had DFA finishing off their infrastructure build in our office park, as far as i understand from DFA we now need to find a last mile ISP that will be prepared to assist us in getting hooked up?

Any advice on this? Which ISP is the best to use in this case? Telkom, MTN, Vodacom, Cellc.........?

TIA

DFA should provide you with a list of ISPs that operate on DFA's infrastructure, drop me a mail on paul at cisp.co.za with the address and I will send you a pricelist.

Do not use IS/Ignite

We are with them and they are so incompetent I can't even.

It's been 20 hours now waiting for them to send PPOE credentials to an install they did at our office.

197 emails to them about it.

What a coincidence I just got a mail back. They do not give you access to your PPOE credentials.
I have checked on our side, and I have been advised that we do not allow this as it breaks our busin*ess model.

You, as the customer, will have to conne*ct your Mikrotik to our router and then do whatever config is required on your device.

Kind regards

So guess I'm also looking for a new fiber ISP that can use DFA's line

Vox maybe? They have interesting solutions with 3G and voice bundles so you have one provider and can manage your connectivity easier I think.
