I just checked my data balance and to my surprise i have 10240MB avail exp end of this month, last time i checked my balance was around 5000MB , did we get bonus or its just an error :wtf: , i love you 8ta i hope i wont find nasty suprises on my billing. i have i5 promo

I also noticed my account was replenished this morning so I phoned the call center. Apparently my remaining balance of around a gig is still showing on their system even though it's says I have 10 gigs on my side. Hope I don't lose what I still had left until the end of the month.

If you check on ussd your real balance is noted. I know they were doing system upgrades this morning, Most likely a bug with that.

Check that it's not Wifi data.

I'm on the 60GB+60GB and same issue - both balances now showing 61440MB, and I've had mine since December last year.

It would seem the website is reporting incorrectly.
All my data bundles that were empty are now showing as full.
But if I check on USSD then they show the correct balance.

I'd advise strongly against trying to "take advantage of this" as I reckon you may just rack up a sizable OOB bill...

I won R200 airtime on facebook so chose my 8.TA number to receive the airtime and as soon as that was in I was given 10240mb fast wi fi (something like that according to the sms) and as far as I know that is to be used in a telkom mobile hot spot, now just to get a phone that has wi fi.

It is yes. It turns out I only had about 1GB left. Upgraded my machine to Ubungu 13.04 and poof data gone
