Was a tough one. But yes. Done last week...

Were you lucky or did you know what you were doing? My returns are nothing like that. I can safely say I bought into the wrong thing at the wrong time, every time it's come time to top up my TFSA.

I think the only thing that would bug me with those picks is there is lots of overlap (except for Japan) - although who am I to talk with my +10% average :D
Both. There's plenty of threads here with knowledgeable people. Follow their posts ... google, and compare.
One thing is for sure - Fokol in SA is giving you good returns. I can post my JSA results, it's like looking at your own schit floating in a bowl.

Oh no, I said yes to poll but looked now and realized somehow I only put in R27,600.
Damn

I wish I had maxed it out. It will be a goal for this tax year.

Tax Free contribution was a paltry 4,500.

I did put a sizeable sum late last year into shares (ADH, WHL). In this tax year it will go to my TSIA.

Not at all surprised you would be that kind of idiot.

And one of the best decisions it was too! All global markets are still far off from the lows it is heading towards, especially SA which is currently experiencing a total collapse. A lot of money will still be lost.

Better pay that extra fee to make your payment funds clear TODAY!
Yeah quickly topped up RA with insta payment and a nice phone call to ensure it reflected last tax year still. That was Monday.

Except your statements are rarely backed up by facts and reality.

Here I am sitting in the very happy solid green on my TFSA while my USD (only) funds are mostly down the shitter.

And even if there was a dip this is the long term game where the entire point is saving on tax.

Pulling money out means you can’t put it back again.

can we start money putting in again? did our overlords increase the limit for the year?
