You insult us with your lack of interest to vote like many others who thinking not voting is better than voting...if you don't vote then you have absolutely no reason to complain about anything. You're clearly happy with how things are going.

Slap gat.

oh look another attempt at an insult is thrown my way, I guess @FiestaST will stay silent on that as well

DA ladies providing coffee, donuts and samoosas in Plumstead yesterday. Saw a couple of bergies filling up

Yup. And I still don't know what the third ballot is for.
Job creation, need more people at the voting stattions because they have an additional ballot to manage, this will lead to more ballots which need to get counted and that means you hire additional counters.
And that kids is how oom Sarel organized another good story to tel... I mean 10,000 additional jobs.

Not gonna lie, I might stand as an independent next time. No harm in trying to suckle at the teat of the taxpayer.

So let me get this straight. We are asking people whether they voted or not, via a vote?

I don't want to point out the obviously flaw, but...
People who vote No on this poll likely were too lazy to go out in person yesterday - its a lot easier to be noisy in a chair.

People who did not Vote out of choice yesterday waived the right to complain about anything happening in the country and are just plain slapgat. Some of them might also not be menially fit to be part of a normal functioning society.

you are the one making unsubstantiated claims, not me

can you show me where I said I think I am better than anyone else
Cut me some slack please, I am not some wet behind the ears joker here.

You have been going on a few thread about your not voting & making fun of those that choose to.

I have the ability to read between the lines also.

My point is super simple: You didn't vote, good for you. Don't hate/insult/mock/whatever those that did. Just be lekker.

I will not give you exact examples, I value my time more then "arguing" over trivial matters.

This is why I’m okay with people who don’t vote not voting. There’s no guarantee that they’ll vote sensibly…

where have I mocked anyone?

your super simple point displays your double standard, because the people who apparently voted are the ones dictating that I should not complain and throwing insults at me

you will not be able to show me one post where I insulted anyone or thought anything of them, this reading between lines and not being able to show exact examples is just you admitting that you are making things up as you go along

next time, try not to read between the lines but take note of the actual lines

Yes.

Because not voting serves no purpose. If only 5 people arrived the vote for elections, the entire elections will be based on them. SA has no minimum voting allowance. In some countries, like Australia, its compulsory to vote. In SA it doesnt. Even 1 person can choose the outcome of the election. So by not voting or by spoiling your vote, it doesnt do anything. Serves no purpose. They will simply BIN it. So spoiling to prove a point is meaningless.

I have honestly not seen as many people since 1994. I know posh "formerly white" suburbs had queues up to 2km long that only voted after midnight even. Some poorer areas the people went home because the cops was nowhere to protect them.

But at the end... Looks like Zuma killed the ANC.

I did, yes, but was never good at multiple choice questions at school, so waved the magic wand that was secured to the cardboard box with a 5cm piece of string, around randomly till it magically scribed a mark somewhere on the well oversized piece of parchment that was folded up (more than 7 times I might add) and handed to me with 2 other useless pieces of parchment!

I am just grateful that this took my wife and I no longer than 10 minute to complete from the time of arrival to the time of departure.

These ballots just really annoy me because there are literally 17 thousand different things to look through before you find the one you are supposedly going to mark!
Next time, they better go digital and use AI and voice activation for you vote!
Anyhoo!
Happy the "permanent" kokie came off after the first dish I washed last night....
And then the Russians hack it and ANC gets a landslide 90%. Great idea.

The open each vote in person and then normally show it to a camera etc for additional monitoring. Abroad they follow the same process.

thats a problem with the democracy, not with people who are not voting
