A well-established technologies company in Durban, has a vacancy for a Digital Project Manager based in Kloof. This is a permanent position with benefits post probation. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with Business Development Managers, Developers, Support and Accounts to ensure all digital projects are scoped, scheduled, planned and executed effectively and meticulously and to accomplish all project objectives timeously, meticulously and diligently.
Requirements:
• 2 years' experience applying formal project management methodology in a digital and preferably mobile focused environment
• proven history of successfully motivating and driving others towards goals
• current knowledge and a deep understanding of mobile and digital technology
• valid drivers license
The succesful candidated will need to:
• take accountability for planning and managing project resources and activities to ensure project objectives are delivered against budget, scope and timing constraints,
• work across a variety of digital mobile platforms, including SMS, USSD, Mobi, IMs (Instant Messengers) and in-house platforms.
• produce accurate, timely and functional project plans and scope change documents for each project, in response to client briefs and objectives.
• manage the execution of multiple fast-moving campaigns by managing workflow.
• build and maintain evolving schedules from creative development through production.
• be accountable for delivery of project on time with no issues and no skew from scope.
• be the primary point of contact for project delivery, drafting and delivering project communications, and proactively keeping teams informed through daily status documents, and status and scoping meetings.
• be the primary point of contact for identifying and resolving project issues.
• identify and maintain strict project documentation and archiving and assist in the management of 3rd party suppliers
