amongst other things - basically ODM (TopTV) proved that the STB costings for a sat option were less than the costings involved in STBs for DTT and so when the costings of maintaining terrestrial broadcasting over the country - tower side - are looked at it would be cheaper and more efficient to go with a DVB-S2 approach for all broadcasting :: which OpenView HD has embraced. Free up all of the spectrum and if Naspers wants to pay for the spectrum for terrestrial broadcasting then cool but for now lets give the MNOs more spectrum at an appropriate cost - which can be reinvested into infrastructure - and kill this money drain that is Sentech
