It would have happened a lot quicker had the correct decision makers received their "just desserts"

So if there are 20 manufacturers and each one makes 200000 units.
That equates to about 4 Million units.
Which suckers are going to buy these STB's.
Just sounds like a gone wrong tender as usual and an absolute waste of TAXPAYERS money.
They could have just piggybacked on DSTV and not laid out a single cent for STB's
But no, they think their way is better.

Been using it for the past three years.
i had a dvb-t1 receiver which i have used b4 these clowns switched to T2, only bought the T2 a few months ago. the T1 was way nicer and intergrated but o well :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Only reason we are able to is due to our old TV failing. Found one with a DVB-T2 tuner built in.

DSTV is satellite where DVB-T2 is terrestrial. Two big differences.

And no, digital TV is not a white elephant. It's going to happen and has to happen.
